What is included in the WCS 2026–2027 calendar?

The calendar is designed as an easy reference for Williamson County Schools families with students in grades 6–12. It includes:

  • All 27 official WCS late-start dates for middle and high schools

  • The first and last days of school

  • Scheduled student half days

  • Fall, Thanksgiving, winter, mid-winter and spring breaks

  • Major no-school days and semester dates

  • All 11 K–5 early-release dates, which may help families with students in multiple grade bands

Williamson County Schools publishes the official dates in calendar documents, but we could not find a dedicated one-tap subscription that combines the main student schedule with every grades 6–12 late-start day. This calendar turns those published dates into a format families can add to the devices they already use.

How to subscribe on an iPhone

  1. Open this page in Safari on your iPhone.

  2. Tap this Subscribe on iPhone button

  3. Review the calendar name and tap Subscribe or Add.

  4. Open Apple Calendar and make sure the new calendar is selected.

If the link does not open from another app, copy this page into Safari and try again.

How to add the calendar to Skylight or another app

  1. Copy the HTTPS subscription URL: https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=1NeEf-yuSwxwpB5l8JsFHuyPigd6yCh4B

  2. In your calendar app, look for an option such as Add calendar, Subscribe by URL, From URL or Internet calendar.

Why subscribe instead of saving a screenshot?

A subscribed calendar keeps the school schedule next to appointments, practices and family plans. It is searchable, available from your phone and easier to share with grandparents, caregivers and anyone helping with transportation. If the calendar owner updates the same feed, subscribing also gives compatible apps a way to retrieve changes; how quickly that happens depends on the app.
